This receptacle is manufactured from glass
filled UL94V-0 PBT Resin, and provides a
lower cost alternative to the ‘Z’ series metal
shell. Available in the small “D” or larger “P”
housing or the dual versions featuring two
connectors within a single housing.
A positive latch lock system secures the
mating cable connector. Manufactured to
comply with IEC 268-12 and AES 14-1992
standards. CSA File Number 68598
Features
• Thermoplastic Shell.
• The “D” size housing can be either
front or rear mounted using the same
panel cutout.
• The “P” size housing is the original front
mounting XLR connector.
• Dual versions provide two connectors in the
one shell.
• A leading first mate last break socket contact
is standard on all female connectors (Pin 1).
• Solder cup or Insulation Displacement
Contact (IDC) as well as Vertical or Horizontal
PCB versions are available.
• Latching and Non-latching
versions available.
• Available in 3 contact arrangements only.
• Compatible with all other XLR brands.
